What is SKY fast & fixed?

  • SKY fast & fixed is an implant-supported treatment concept for the immediate restoration of an edentulous or soon-to-be edentulous jaw.
  • Several implants are placed, partly in an angled position, in order to make optimal use of the existing native bone and avoid the need for bone grafting and augmentation procedures.
  • A fixed temporary bridge can be inserted directly afterwards.
  • The definitive restoration follows the healing phase, while patients wear fixed temporary prostheses immediately after surgery and leave the dental practice with a smile.

The majority of SKY fast & fixed patients have non-restorable failing dentitionand chronic soft tissue inflammation.

The extraction of infected non-restorable teeth does not completely eliminate the cause of the inflammation, as harmful bacteria remain in the extraction alveoli and quickly re-grow. This is where HELBO antimicrobial photodynamic therapy (aPDT) comes into play: the treatment safely and reliably disinfects the extraction alveoli using a photosensitive dye in interaction with low-energy light exposure by the TheraLite laser – and it is completely pain-free!
